The Crazy Tin Foil Maniac
A man stands on the edge of the street; he reaches into his pocket, grabs a lighter and takes a drag of his cigarette. He stands alone with no one in sight. He is all alone as he finishes his cigarette and he turns around to go inside the unknown building from which he came. This scene repeats numerous times with much monotony.

The third time, the scene plays it is exactly the same except for when he walks back in… There is something different than the past times. A lone man sits beside the entrance with a tin foil hat. He says nothing. They stare at each other with a questionable look on each of their faces. The man proceeds to enter the building.

He comes out for another cigarette later in the day and the same man is still sitting there. He lights up his cigarette and walks over to the man.

Man: “What’re you doing here?”
Crazy tin foil maniac: “I’m here to protect you!”.

The man stares at him with a confused facial expression.

Man: *mumbles* “Crazy tin foil manic…”

He returns indoors.
Later he comes back outside for yet another cigarette. The crazy tin foil manic is standing where the man always smokes his cigarette and he says to the man.

Crazy tin foil maniac: "You need protection!"
Man:  *in a demanding tone* “Protect me from what?!”.

The tin foil maniac’s eyes grow very large and he stares off in the distance.
Crazy tin foil maniac:“FROM THEM!”

The camera cuts off after the man turns around with a look of fear on his face.

  1. You write in a cinematic and visual style. It is easy to see what you are expressing. I wanted the crazy tin foil hat man to protect the other man from us the viewer. I want him to point at us viewing them and have the other man break the fourth wall and acknowledge that we are there watching them.
