Phrases and Script

5-10 phrases/statements
“Leaf me alone.”
“He is the crazy tin foil maniac!”
“I dyed my hair red.”
“This could be the first example of cannibalism.”
-   “Can I use your lighter?”

The Crazy Tin Foil Maniac
A man stands on the edge of the street; he reaches into his pocket, grabs a lighter and takes a drag of his cigarette. He stands alone with no one in sight. He is all alone as he finishes his cigarette and he turns around to go inside the unknown building from which he came. This scene repeats numerous times with much monotony.

The third time, the scene plays it is exactly the same except for when he walks back in… There is something different than the past times. A lone man sits beside the entrance with a tin foil hat. He says nothing. They stare at each other with a questionable look on each of their faces. The man proceeds to enter the building.

He comes out for another cigarette later in the day and the same man is still sitting there. He lights up his cigarette and walks over to the man.

Man: “What’re you doing here?”
Crazy tin foil maniac: “I’m here to protect you!”.

The man stares at him with a confused facial expression.

Man: *mumbles* “Crazy tin foil manic…”

He returns indoors.
Later he comes back outside for yet another cigarette. The crazy tin foil manic is standing where the man always smokes his cigarette and he says to the man.

Crazy tin foil maniac: "You need protection!"
Man:  *in a demanding tone* “Protect me from what?!”.

The tin foil maniac’s eyes grow very large and he stares off in the distance.
Crazy tin foil maniac:“FROM THEM!”

The camera cuts off after the man turns around with a look of fear on his face.

Documentary Subjects

Doc Subject 1: Life After Death (Band)
I would most like to do a documentary about my friend's band, Life After Death.
The documentary would tell a bit about each band member, their gain in popularity in the
underground hardcore scene and the problems they faced trying to do what the love while
providing for themselves.

Doc Subject 2: John Dawson (My dad and his epic mustache)
Over the years my dad has showed me how to become a hardworking and responsible man.
He is a self made business man, working in the restaurant industry. He opened Between The Buns
Sports Bar in Elkhart and currently works for Cafe Navarre as General Manager
He also has a bad ass mustache. I'm pretty sure I could make an entire documentary on it.

Doc Subject 3: Iechyd Da Brewing Co.
A local beer brewery in Elkhart. I would like to make a documentary about the owners and there
rise to popularity in a town where businesses are constantly failing, especially restaurants. They offer pizza,
sandwiches and their specialty brews. Keeping it simple and good priced allowed their business to thrive.

Brainstorming: Day 6

My 6th brainstorming idea would be a short film with a terrorism style plot. A man is sitting at a cafe on his lunch break, enjoying his coffee and reading the paper. His cellphone rings with the number 000-000-0000. He refuses to answer and then a bomb goes off across the street. People run in fear but as he is running, he can hear more explosions from far away. When he finally feels that he gets to safety he realizes he has 6 more missed calls. Another incoming call rings from the same number and he finally answers... A man over the phone tells him that if he ever does not answer the calls from this number people all over the world will die from the explosions that are triggered from the missed calls on the phone. The man on the phone tells him he can never go within a mile radius of his home, police stations or his families residences and he can never dial out for help. The character then decides that he must flee in to the woods far from civilization as possible in order for the phone to never get service to accept an incoming call. He finally gets back home after days in the woods but when he walks up to his front door, there is his cellphone he discarded in the woods dangling from the door knocker.
